Charlton Memorial Drinking Fountain

A late 19th Century drinking fountain to the north-west of Saltwell Towers mansion. It is inscribed: "GEORGE CHARLTON ESQ JP Mayor of Gateshead 1874 and 1875 in recognition of his labours in the cause of social reform".
