An Autumn Day on Pockerley Waggonway

The eastern part of the museum has an 1825 theme and includes a recreated colliery waggonway called the ‘Pockerley Waggonway’ with a working replica of George Stephenson’s Locomotion Number One and another early steam locomotive called ‘a steam elephant’.
