The Sea to Sky Gondola is a premier year-round attraction located along the famous Highway 99 (Sea to Sky Highway), just 2 km south of Squamish, British Columbia, and about a 45-to-60-minute drive north of Vancouver. It whisks visitors on a smooth, scenic 10-minute ride up 885 meters (2,900 feet) above sea level to the edge of a mountain crest. The summit opens up into a dramatic alpine playground featuring sweeping, 360-degree views of the turquoise waters of Howe Sound, the massive Stawamus Chief granite monolith, and the surrounding coastal mountain peaks.
